Electrical Safety Test
Electrical safety testing is essential to ensure safe operating standards for any product that uses electricity. Electrical safety testing has been around for almost a century, and safety agencies have been testing and certifying products for almost as long.
Why do we need Electrical safety test?
The obvious answer is consumer and operator protection from shock hazards. Electrical safety is a very important factor that needs to be tested on newly acquired equipment prior to being accepted for use, during routine planned preventive maintenance and after repairs have been carried out on equipment.
The Electrical safety test analyzer tests the following package currents
• Line (Mains) voltage,
• Ground wire (Protective earth resistance)
• Equipment current
• Insulation resistance
• Ground (Earth) leakage
• Chassis (Enclosure) leakage
• Differential leakage
• Direct equipment leakage
• Point to point leakage, voltage and resistance
